Wow! It’s been a LOOONG time since I blogged. Can’t believe how fast time flies! When I was young, I used to hear from grown ups that once we grow up, we won’t have enough time for anything. Now I know what they were talking about. Wish listened to them, and enjoyed my younger years a lot more.
AIMS (Arizona’s state testing) is over. Even though the students take the test, the educators especially the teachers feel the pressure more than anyone else. It was extremely stressful. After that had to focus on cleaning up my classroom, and student council. Had an extremely stressful, but fun year as one of the student council advisors. I am so proud of my students. We had a wonderful art walk/silent auction organized by our student council where half of each sale went to the artists/students and the other half to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Our students worked all day till 7 in the evening with a big smile. Can you imagine a whole bunch of 3rd graders too that are barely 4 feet tall? Ok, I am exaggerating a bit. They are taller than 4 feet, but still tiny.
