Cat Lady

July 20th, 2012 - Personal

I’ve been thinking about my old 4th graders, now 5th graders lately. I’m really missing them. There were days when I really wanted to quit, but all is well if it ends well. Did I say it right? They wanted me to get cats, not a cat, a few cats. And they suggested another teacher to join online dating. I am not crazy, really! We have some very smart children.

I left the best card they made me this year in my classroom. I will share with everyone soon. And I am really enjoying looking at myself. Yes, both of these are supposed to be me. How? I have NO Idea.

I am really looking forward to starting a new year with new 4th graders.

Same Spot Different Perspectives

July 19th, 2012 - Personal

It’s always amazes me how different people view the same thing differently. How everyone’s imagination is so unique yet beautiful. Each of the shots were taken at the same spot,  but from 2 different point of views. Couldn’t take nearly as much photos as I planned since it was extremely bright and the sun was right above us for hours. Let’s see what you think. One was taken by me, and the other one was by Adnan.

The first one was taken by Adnan and the second one was by me.

The fist one was taken by Adnan, and I really like his better since he was able to capture more of the action, and life there than I did.

The second shot is mine, and after I took this shot, my dear brother didn’t like it. He snatched the camera from me, and took the first one of the bridge. I am  really impressed. I think I’ve created a monster.

HWY 1 ~ Destination Wedding Photographer

July 18th, 2012 - Personal

Last week, my brother and I drove along the pacific coast all the way to NorCal. As usual, I had my camera on me. The water was gorgeous. So blue!!

This shot was taken in San Francisco by my second shooter/brother Adnan near the Golden Gate Bridge. I absolutely love it. What do you think?

The following one was taken by me near the Golden Gate Bridge.

More will be shared soon. We actually took photos of the same thing from our own views, and some of those will be shared soon, so stay tuned!

Monday Night Randomness

July 16th, 2012 - Personal

I love pinterest. Did I say this before? Maybe I did, but I am saying this again. Found this great one on pinterest. I am a great math teacher. Not kidding, I am! However, I still feel this way with a word problem.

Texting is very new, but isn’t it weird that we have a conversation via text messages instead of just picking up the phone? I have to admit, I am not a phone person. I avoid talking on the phone as much as possible.

Koalas are not bears, but don’t tell them that.

Confession Addiction

July 14th, 2012 - Personal

I have to admit. I have an extremely strong addiction to online shopping, especially online shopping at Macy’s.

Katie & Jason Engagement ~ Phoenix Engagement Photographer

July 3rd, 2012 - Engagement

Almost a decade ago, a girl noticed a guy at a restaurant, and told one of her friends that he looked pleasant. The friend did something that every should do. Went up to the guy, and told him about her friend. A decade later, here we are. Katie and Jason are all set to tie the knot in November.

Since it’s so hot in Phoenix, we’ve decided to drive up to Prescott, enjoy a fine day, and do a fun and relaxed engagement session there.

At the lake, we’ve decided to play a fun game so that I could capture their expressions. They each had to write something on the board, and then surprise each other. Both of their notes have some funny stories behind it. I love their expressions after seeing the writing.
